Trade Union for Theatre and Media Finland, Teme

The Trade Union for Theatre and Media Finland, Teme represents professionals and students in the performing arts, the event industry, and the film and media sector.

Membership of Teme is open to all employees, freelancers and students in the artistic, cultural and media sectors. These members are mainly professionals working in the film, theatre, dance, circus, event and television industry, and in art education.

Joining the union

You may join Teme through an organisation for a specific industry, or as an individual member.

The membership subscription fee for Teme in 2025 is 1.6 per cent of gross wages. This membership subscription fee includes membership of the unemployment fund. The membership fee is tax-deductible.

Student membership

All students of art, culture and media sector occupations may join Teme as student members.

Student members pay an annual subscription fee of EUR 38. Student members are eligible for membership benefits, assistance and advice, but not for leisure time accident and travel insurance.

  • As a self-employed Videographer at Revo Film Oy since the beginning of 2024, Henkka works to provide virtual content for associations and businesses.
  • He is a member of Theatre and Media Employees in Finland Teme.
