The Suomi.fi online service now features a convenient information pack on the rules and practices of working life in Finland. The information can be found under Working life and unemployment > Rules of working life. The information is also very suitable for use as study material in educational institutions.

The Rules of working life information pack explains what an employee needs to know when taking a new job and when leaving a job. There is also information on payment of wages and salaries, working hours, data protection and privacy at work, occupational safety and different ways of working.

The Suomi.fi information pack on working life in Finland is in English, Finnish and Swedish.

The information content is the responsibility of the following labour market organisations: Confederation of Unions for Professional and Managerial Staff in Finland; Confederation of Finnish Industries; Commission for Church Employers; Local Government Employers; Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions; Finnish Confederation of Salaried Employees; and Office for the Government as Employer. The information will be updated at least once a year.
