Sick pay

During illness and incapacity for work, you may be eligible for a number of benefits.

An employee whose employment has continued for one month is legally entitled to full pay for the day of onset of illness and for the following nine ordinary weekdays. If the employment has continued for less than one month, then the employee is entitled to half pay for these days.

Collective agreements generally provide for more generous sick leave benefits.
