The Finnish Social Democratic Journalists’ Union SSSL is the oldest organisation lobbying for the interests of employees in its sector in Finland.

SSSL organises supporters of social democratic principles serving as journalists and communicators in newspapers and electronic media.

Joining the union

• a brief account of work in the media sector

The annual membership subscription fee for SSSL in 2025 is EUR 40. This membership subscription fee does not include membership of any unemployment fund. The membership fee is tax-deductible.

Student membership

There are no student members of SSSL.

SSSL does not conclude collective agreements.
