Members
The members of SLL are commercial pilots working for Finnair.
Joining the union
You may join SLL by completing the online membership application form.
The membership subscription fee for SLL in 2025 is 0.45 per cent of gross wages. Members also pay a monthly branch membership subscription fee of EUR 24.15 and the minimum basic rate for combined life and licence insurance coverage (price depending on age).
Membership subscriptions are tax-deductible. They do not include membership of any unemployment fund.
Student membership
Students enrolled in a Finnair first officer course (FOC) or type course may join SLL as student members. Students on the MPL training path are eligible for student membership after commencing PHASE 3.
The subscription fee for student members is EUR 5 per month. Student membership may include voluntary combined life and licence insurance coverage (price depending on age).
Collective agreement
SLL negotiates the collective agreement for Finnair pilots.
