Finnish Non-Commissioned Officers Union

The Non-Commissioned Officers Union primarily defends the interests of professional soldiers. The Association is affiliated to JHL.

Members

The following service personnel of the Finnish Defence Forces are eligible to join the Non-Commissioned Officers Union:

• non-commissioned officers
• mechanics
• aircraft mechanics
• contractual military personnel

Joining the union

You may join the Non-Commissioned Officers Union by completing the online application form.

The membership subscription fee for the Non-Commissioned Officers Union in 2025 is 1.2 per cent of gross wages. This membership subscription fee includes membership of the unemployment fund. The membership fee is tax-deductible.

Student membership

The Non-Commissioned Officers Union does not have student members.
